English A pleasant and unoffensive French flick that takes part in the country with plain and inoffensive people. I liked the movie because it was so plain, but at the same time I have to criticize it a bit because some parts would literally make you fall asleep. ()

English François Cluzet seems to be specializing in roles of dying and sick characters, which is fine because it allows him to showcase his acting abilities, but this almost provincial film with a theme that feels surprisingly clichéd - probably because it seems like this kind of story is constantly being made - doesn't particularly stand out, apart from the good performances.
