Portraits of four inhabitants of São Paulo and their families capture the exciting social situation before the Football World Cup in 2014. A financial analyst, a striking employee of the transport company, a worker in a car factory and a motorcycle courier represent the diverse reactions to the holding of the World Cup, which brings both promising opportunities and risks. Filmmaker Maria Ramos gives space for their perspectives on current events, their fears and hopes. She applies her characteristic style and portrays the protagonists from a certain distance, leaving them free to speak naturally. The problems outlined in the film are now very current in the lead up to another huge sporting event: this summer's Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. (One World)
