Kizumonogatari Part 2: Hot-Blooded

Great! Once again, the substance has caught up with the form finally. In my opinion, this was only achieved by the original Bakemonogatari. So we must fully appreciate that. In other words, not only does it once again look enjoyable, authentic, and mostly unforgettable (yes, there are some sequences that I enjoyed much more than in the first movie, like the field of grain), but the soundtrack is once again excellent. This time it is also full of a dense atmosphere, great moving scenes, and, once again, a lot of decent dialogues. I enjoyed every interaction between Araragi and Hanekawa immensely; I enjoyed their conversations and even what they could not say to each other. I enjoyed the humor and even the slightly dirty jokes, so for example, when Hanekawa gave Araragi the best gift a female friend could give him, her panties, that put a massive grin on my face. Plus, there are a lot of action scenes; the pace is brisk and vigorous, with fight scenes lasting no more than a few minutes. This movie is terrific visually. I am very satisfied. 9/10. (08/06/2017)
