Woody Allen wrote, directed and stars in this comedy with Jason Biggs as a too-nice New York comedy writer who comes under the tutelage of a gruff, paranoid schoolteacher. Jerry Falk (Biggs) is the kind of guy who can't seem to cut his losses. His agent doesn't get him much work, his therapist is useless and his girlfriend Amanda is constantly rejecting him. Enter David Dobel (Allen), a sixty-something would-be writer who encourages Jerry to carry a weapon, dump Amanda and head to Hollywood with him to write sitcoms. (Home Box Office)
