From the twisted minds of the devious Cairnes Brothers comes Scare Campaign, a brilliantly dark follow up to their gore sodden debut, 100 Bloody Acres. Facing dwindling ratings, reality TV prank show 'Scare Campaign' ups the ante in a bid to give their audience more than just old-school scares and candid camera shenanigans. An abandoned asylum provides the perfect location for the crew's elaborately planned efforts to stay relevant, but are they in over their heads? Are they about to prank the wrong guy? You betcha! Scare Campaign is a multi-layered, bloody fright fest that will grab you by the throat and squeeze you senseless for 80 minutes. It delivers killer twists and turns at breakneck speed, as it pays homage to classic horror conventions while remaining fiercely original. The Cairnes lads are at the top of their game, pushing their cast, including Aussie film royalty Sigrid Thornton and John Brumpton alongside Ian Meadows, Meegan Warner and newcomer Olivia DeJonge, to their absolute limits. This is one menacing film experience that will stay with you long after your sweaty palms have dried. See the world premiere of this adrenaline-fuelled horror tour de force at Monster Fest, and revel in Aussie horror's new direction. (Monster Fest)

English The film Scare Campaign has a escalating storyline, where gradually you really start to lose track of who's killing and if anyone's killing at all. The main reason is that the special effects here are very good. However, when the killing is real, you can pretty much tell because the special effects are taken to an even higher level of gore. The film delivers what it promises and may even surprise you with. It's not as clever as the authors would like, but it's certainly not stupid. ()
