Fight for the Title

Lightweight boxing champion Benny Leonard (George Brenlin) can't dissuade a young boxing hopeful (Michael Landon) from throwing his life away in the ring. Later the boxers go head-to-head in a match that has fateful results when the beatings that Leonard unleashes upon the young fighter cause a head injury, making him lose touch with reality. Consequently, Benny gives up boxing and thus, a lucrative career, to join the military. After years of guilt, Benny returns home to confront the young fighter, hoping to make amends so he can finally be at peace. (Echo Bridge Entertainment)
