Blue Birth

After the success of his first feature, young director Gust Van den Berghe (winner of the last PÖFF with his feature "Lucifer") is eager to realize a second film, "Blue Bird" (PÖFF 2011). Quite impulsively he leaves for far away Togo with only a small team and a minimal budget. When at the start of production a member of his crew suddenly dies, accomplishing his endeavor seems nearly impossible. By reconstructing the making of "Blue Bird", "Blue Birth" reveals the interwoven journey of Gust and his fictional characters. (Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival)
