The Institute for Insulting France, from the safety of the British Isles. A return to the roots of "good old Top Gear", admittedly due to the lockdown, but it brings back the antics and escapades on the English fields and Welsh hills. It doesn't follow the line of the specials, it's merely a patchwork of segments that is supposed to be held together by the overarching theme of "the French and their weirdness when it comes to cars". Some segments are better, some worse, but all in all it’s entertaining. Not always without flaws, but the restrained runtime makes it work, and when it hits the right note, it's worth it.
