Way down south, in the lush setting of Pemberton we find Tyson Mackintosh at a crossroad. His life is not where he wants it to be. He should be in Hollywood. Instead he's stuck in small town Australia, one step away from having to give up the dream, move back in with his parents and find a job stacking shelves at the supermarket. But he has one last chance, "The Tall Tales Film Festival", if and only if he can stop himself from being himself - an angry, cynical, Bitter Artist. Bitter Art is an independent dramatic comedy produced by Australian and South African Productions and Fade in Films. The film stars Christopher Morris of Crownies and Offspring fame and is the first ever feature film to be shot on location in Pemberton, Western Australia. Through his powerful imagery, accredited and award winning cinematographer Torstein Dyrting ACS, captures the rarely seen natural beauty of this geographically unique region.
