A man and a woman share their thoughts on love on a summer night. The couple's conversation slip into the meanders of memories and unspoken desires. A sort of "response" by Wenders to Linklater's Before Sunset. A fine summer day. A garden. A terrace. A woman (Sophie Semin) and a man (Reda Kateb) under the shade of the trees, a light summer wind. In the distance, across the vast plain, the skyline of Paris. A dialogue made of questions and answers begins between the man and the woman. They talk about sexual experiences, their childhood, their memories, the essence of the summer and what makes men different from women. Against the background, in the house overlooking the terrace, a writer (Jens Harzer) imagines the couple's dialogue and begins to write. Or is it the opposite? Maybe the two main characters are actually telling us what is written on the paper? (Venice International Film Festival)
