After her father’s wedding, Tereza (Petra Nesvačilová), her boyfriend, František (Petr Vršek), and her sister Petra (Hana Vagnerová) go to visit their grandmother (Monika Pošívalová). Tereza’s mother (Vanda Hybnerová) has been taking care of her and the house, but to Tereza, it appears that everything has been left to its fate and, what’s more, grandmother’s diminishing faculties of concentration are causing her to lose contact with reality. To the detriment of all, Tereza decides to remain in the house and put everything right. But not every situation needs fixing. A gentle, poetic film about the fragility of human relationships and the intimate worlds within each family. (Days of European Film)

I let it capture my heart. And I’m glad I did. Snowing! is a beautiful film for a quiet evening when you don't mind watching an equally quiet story about perhaps mundane, but all the more familiar situations. Great acting, even better filming... it shows that it was very personal for Kristina Nedvědová. I'd like to see something else from her. Anything else.
