English This is what it looks like when a director tries really, really hard, but unfortunately was not gifted with any filmmaking talent; nor with above average intellect or creativity to make his work interesting in any way. While a couple of atmospheric scenes in the first half somehow manage to keep hopes alive, in the second half I just stopped caring. ()

English The film From a House on Willow Street is somewhat of an attempt, and it's not a complete mistake. It could have been made into a film that could have been scary. There are scenes here that are very unpleasant and technically well-executed, especially those involving the tongue, but overall it still hovers around average, sometimes almost below average in the sense of how the creators shamefully wasted some opportunities to captivate the audience. This could have been so much better. ()
