Apart from a very strong and emotional narrative, whose main protagonist is the golden dragon, Zeno, we get a backstory and the original dragons’ designs, which I found interesting. Then there is also a rather good narrative about why eternal life sucks. It is nothing new or amazing, although the execution is excellent, in my opinion. Oh, and there is the after-credits bonus, whose second half is going to be appreciated by all the fans of the main couple. This is how I think bonus episodes for an anime series should look. 9/10.
