Trace I Leave (behind)

A man, aware of the end that is nearing, is trying to leave a trace. I created a man in the 16mm catches. He lives in the film, imprisoned in the borders of its frame. This part is a skeleton that forms every mortal being. It is corporeal, as is the film strip. But the soul of the man, his ideas and experiences, all vanishes together with him. The passing nature of life is repreasented by the digital projection. (FamuFest)
