Brynhildur is a young girl from Iceland with a lot in her life to cherish and look forward to: caring parents, a best friend, an upcoming 13th birthday and an important choir audition ahead of her. All the good things around her are diminished, however, by a fear of failure brought about by bullying. And it only gets worse since her bully is after the same choir position as Brynhildur is. How should we react to bullying? If no one talks about it, does anybody notice it? And how should we intervene? In this christmassy film, director Hinriksson approached bullying from many different angles, giving the viewer a glimpse of the experiences of the bullied girl and her parents as well as of the mindset of the bully. Just how bad must the bully be feeling on the inside, and what happens if they are left alone, unsupported and without an audience? (Oulu International Children's and Youth Film Festival)
