The Canadian-Italian film The Blind King is a relatively good example of the fact that it is possible to make a horror film that works even when you have a small budget. You can tell that the actors are not very good, but it does have a story, there are scary moments, and thus The Blind King clearly works as a horror film. The overall execution is not bad at all and the film will surely find its fans.
