Everyone in the Italian village of Torresecca knows that the Tucci family is poor. But despite their desperate lack of money, they strive to be happy. All that changes on the day that they win the super-lottery of 100 million euros. Moving into a luxurious hotel suite in Milan, they begin spending like there's no tomorrow. It's up to their newly hired butler to inform them that being rich today is not what they think it is – not Ferraris, but bicycles, not flashy meals, but vegan food, etc. And when one member of the family falls in love with a waitress who hates rich people, the Tuccis find themselves pretending to be poor again. With all the confusion surrounding their new wealth, the family begins to realize that rich or poor, they're happiest when they're just themselves and they're together. (HBO Europe)
