Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki and Kawaki use a Space-Time Jutsu created by Boruto and Kawaki's Karmas to travel to the dimension where Naruto is. Waiting for them is Boro, a member of Kara who has been tasked with guarding the imprisoned Naruto. Boruto and the others attack Boro to save Naruto, but Boro drives them back by releasing a mysterious dark mist that paralyses his opponents. The four of them make a tactical retreat to assess the situation. They add Kawaki to their team and choose Sarada as their leader, creating a four-person team.
