Ju-ran was always a weak girl. To make things even worse, her fitting in at a new and demanding boarding school isn't easy. Her schoolmates give her the cold shoulder but, over time, Ju-ran manages to get closer to them. But then things get worse when several students start to disappear, and Ju-ran seems to be the only one capable of seeing them. (Sitges Film Festival)

The visual side of the movie "Gyeongseonghakyoo: Sarajin Sonyeodeul" simply has to be praised, even though instead of becoming a horror film as advertised, it is rather a poetic horror, if I am to be mild, or rather a lyrical film with rougher elements, which could scare you here and there. But it's good to watch, no doubt about it.
