I found the second season of Castle Rock similar to the first. There is a lot of buildup and great characters, with Lizzy Caplan being simply excellent. However, towards the end, I suddenly got the feeling that it was all just some weirdly connected mess that did not work very well. There seemed to be too much going on, and I did not think they brought it all together to a head very well, and I did not find Annie Wilkes' past particularly interesting.
