Serial (Bad) Weddings 2

A bourgeois French couple is again challenged to move past their own prejudices and accept their multicultural family, in this outrageously funny sequel to the surprise international box office hit. The lovely Verneuil daughters are each married to men of varied ethnic, racial and religious backgrounds. Their well-off, traditional Catholic parents (Christian Clavier and Chantal Lauby) have finally stopped worrying and learned to love their diverse sons-in-law. But when circumstances prompt the daughters to uproot and leave France, the distraught elders try to hold them back. This decidedly politically incorrect comedy dismantles tribal stereotypes by tackling all-too-real issues of bigotry and intolerance with a big heart and go-for-broke humor.
