When Ao found the package on her doorstep, she thought it was a present from her father, but inside the box was something truly unexpected: Gourai! A Frame Arms Girl, Gourai is a walking, talking, miniature artificial person with the intelligence of a ten-year-old human and a selection of snap-on weapons and armor. And the reason Gourai needs armor quickly becomes clear as two more Frame Arms Girls, Stylet and Baselard, arrive intent on testing Gourai's combat capabilities! It seems that Ao has been chosen to help test a new toy line and the good news is that she'll get paid for hosting her diminutive charges' battles! Of course, since they're mainly interested in fighting and gathering information, things are going to get awkward when they follow her to school. (Sentai Filmworks)

English So anyway I think I just saw a twenty-four-minute long commercial for some action figures. This is an anime series about some animated action figures. They happen to be scantily clad girls, showing up as some different models with their complete outfits, including the color of their underwear. Who would not want to get an action figure like this? It is almost like I have never really lived... All that is missing are little price tags on the individual pieces and the right equipment, including the "best metal cutters" for the individual pieces of armor - recommended by ten out of ten Frame Arms Girls. The animation is very poor, and the soundtrack sounds like it is coming from a shopping mall (or maybe a hotel elevator) in places, which rather fits the shopping spree scene. I can recommend this show to die-hard fans of small and cute things, teleshopping, action figures, and even to those with enough time to explore what else the anime's authors have planned for the future, besides their “subtle" advertising. I do not have much time, and I have always preferred to skip the ads, so dropped after the first episode. However, if it gets above average ratings from other reviewers, I would be happy to come back to it. ()
