Tedious, pathetic, full of supposedly great emotions, but in reality empty, which eventually leads to the film boring you to death, just like some of the characters in this historical drama. With Cary, Sophie and Frank, there was definitely more to be made than this would-be epic and emotionally powerful historical dud. ()
