English War of the Buttons in the Czechoslovakian way. This sometimes very charming film is easy to watch from the very beginning, but it finds its greatest momentum when the excellent Jindřich Plachta appears on the scene. The storyline with the lost globetrotter didn't amuse me at all, but the final super-battle made up for it. I would also like to highlight Srnka's beautiful music. ()

English For me, a completely unknown film, which pleasantly surprised me and showed me that there is indeed room for poetry in Czech cinema, even in a family film. Yes, it may resemble "The Button War" a little, but the film is also sufficiently original and makes excellent use of the setting and great actors. ()
