Being an avid Terry Pratchett reader, I approached this adaptation with two potential reactions in mind. The first option was to nitpick and criticize any deviations from the original book, while the second was to embrace the excitement of seeing one of my favorite novels come to life. After watching the first episode, it's safe to say that the latter prevailed. Pratchett's trademark humor was delightfully present, David Tennant embodied Bill Nighy perfectly, and overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
