James D'Arcy, Maria Valverde and Jack Davenport star in this war drama directed by Koldo Serra. Telling the story of a town that was relentlessly bombed during the Spanish Civil War, the film follows the journey of American journalist Henry (D'Arcy) who joins forces with local press-office censor Teresa (Valverde) as he vows to be the voice of a town shrouded in political red tape and propaganda. When the Germans invade Guernica however, he finds himself biding by even more restrictions with the freedom of the press becoming a thing of the past. (Cinemax)
