Bancroft

I certainly wouldn't want to cross Superintendent Elizabeth Bancroft. I get chills down my spine just thinking about that unscrupulous hag. The series highlights how difficult it can be to take down an intelligent criminal who is also a high-ranking police officer. The opening episode didn't convince me much, but otherwise, I have to praise the artfully constructed script and the rare balanced quality of both seasons, and I devoured the final episode.
