Thousand lives were sacrificed for the peaceful and happy life of future generation. Imagine at least one life which could have been lived. World War II. Heat of the battle – smoke, gunfire, explosions. The main hero, soldier, is sitting next to the wall of the ruined house. He is hiding, breathing heavily and clutching his rifle… He is scared. He closes his eyes. His future life sweeps over on the screen: Victory in May’45, youth, love, kisses, marriage, career. Epochs change, he is getting older, his son leaves home, his daughter learns to drive, time passes by, he reads books to his grandsons and happily looks at the wall of the house, full of photos depicting moments of his happy and long life. The soldier opens his eyes. The battle goes on, he overcomes his fear, runs to attack the enemy, but falls shot in the back. (Sputnik Vostok Production)
