English Today, the TV film Aber Doktor is part of the Agnes Kraus DDR TV Archive. However, for people in the East, this is a unique opportunity to see a number of Czechs at work outdoors. Lipský not only directed but also co-wrote the script, and the music by Svoboda is sung by none other than Gott. The entire story and its functioning are absolutely identical to contemporary Czech films. Brodský is a distracted dentist who even learns to swim in the name of love of Brejchová, while Jurištová is her daughter who has the opportunity to show a few pirouettes on skates. A married lady, her jealous husband, and two naughty boys run around in the background, who casually dull the skates of Brejchová's original husband and he drops out of the game completely. Here and there we get shots of the exposed breasts of Jurištová or Ursula Staack, but in the end nothing goes wrong for the youngsters. Interesting facts and positives abound. ()
