Félix: Self-Fictions of a Smuggler

Félix is an actor starring in video homes and a human smuggler in Tijuana. Felix has lived the transformation of the dividing “line” between Mexico and the United States, and has managed to tell his story through numerous low-budget films, which reveal his practices, strategies and methods. Félix: autoficciones de un traficante shows for the first time the world of human smuggling from the eyes of a dealer and from movie excerpts in which Felix depicts his life as a “coyote”. The documentary is the creation of a character that concurrently portrays himself. (Guadalajara International Film Festival)
