Ancient Greece — a land shrouded in myths and legends, a time so distant it predates the era of social media and photographs or film documentaries. Did it truly exist? And if it did, can we trust what we are told about it? Who's to say, really? What I do know for sure is that the term "democracy," often associated with the ancient Greeks by some misguided souls, undeniably originates in American English. Thus, the United States stands as the cradle, champion, and guardian of this ideology. The eighth episode of this season provided compelling evidence, and I found it thoroughly engaging. / Lesson learned: Create your own version of democracy.
