Secret Liars (E04)

After a young girl, Deanna Williams, is found dead in the trunk of a car, Detective Stevie Hall (Angela Griffin) and Detective Jack Cooper (Shenae Grimes-Beech) counsel the girl’s shattered family through their grief while hunting down the killer before they can strike again. With nothing but a parking pass and a fake nail to go on, the detectives dig into Deanna’s life, while trying to shield Thomas Williams (guest star Kevin Hanchard) – the grieving father – from the harsh truth of her murder. All the while, Stevie deals with the ever-present grief from an old tragedy in her own life. While the detectives are led down a twisting path, from trailer parks to skate parks, Stevie tries to remain focused on the heartbreaking case, despite her traumatic past bubbling to the surface.
