Louis may be brilliant and he may be suicidal, but he has the car. Hilary may be seductive and she may be falling apart, but she is his sister. These two are as far from average as any middle-class Phoenix siblings can get. Louis and Hilary combine the vulgar and the poetic as they badger, berate and bewitch each other. And their fun and games all take place with company in the house. Soledad, the desert artist who accompanies Hilary home, believes this trip will be the start of their new relationship.
