Season 1 (2019) (S01)

English Unless Pedro Pascal is a narcissist who wants his face to appear in every shot, this must have been a dream job for him. Thanks to his costume, he had less opportunity to change his facial expression than IG-11, and if he didn't feel like acting, he could always ask someone from the crew to cover for him. But seriously, I quite enjoyed the first season, I was just annoyed that it was so similar to a lot of other series. The only thing that linked the individual episodes were the characters, and there was hardly any main plot apart from the last two episodes. It turned out to be a decent relaxing watch for a weekday afternoon, but with a little more effort it could have been turned into a real treat. 4*- ()

Chapter 1: The Bounty (2019) (S01E01)

English The opening episode of the first season had a set corresponding to Star Wars, but otherwise I felt like I was watching a typical video game adventure - the hero is given a task and after completing it, he is rewarded with an upgrade to his equipment. Classic :-) I was also amused by the western aspect at the end. ()

Chapter 2: The Child (2019) (S01E02)

English Well, I understand that it's about alien planets and other forms of life, but when I imagined the fierce female rhinoceros laying eggs, I couldn't stop laughing. Anyway, it was a successful episode, although it clearly wasn't the main pillar of the whole story. What lesson can be learned from it? You have to be careful not only with non-adaptive metal collectors in Karviná or Most, but also on other planets and in all solar systems. ()

Chapter 3: The Sin (2019) (S01E03)

English After the third episode, I'm starting to see clearly, it's obviously a typical easygoing movie that won't strain the viewer's brain, but they can still have a good time in peace and comfort. It worked for me this time too, the main characters have perfectly harmonized (one fights superbly, the other stares and cuts with their ears) and the story has taken a clear direction, so let's just keep going. ()

Chapter 4: Sanctuary (2019) (S01E04)

English I have already rated positively three times, that's why I added a third star now. The story was very weak in the fourth episode, when the creators wanted to shoot their version of The Magnificent Seven, they shouldn't have reduced their number to two and that training of the villagers... Otherwise, those war veterans must be damn tough when they can successfully punch through material that normally resists blasters. ()

Chapter 5: The Gunslinger (2019) (S01E05)

English I closed both of my eyes and added to the rating even though the episode didn't deserve it. I won't do it again the second time. I simply found the fifth part boring. Pali and her service didn't interest me, and the stupid Toro Calican didn't convince me either. This was a completely pointless matter, at least the length was bearable. ()

Chapter 6: The Prisoner (2019) (S01E06)

English The sixth episode has once again put the series in the position I would like to see it in. A decent dose of solid action, unnecessary conversation cut to a minimum, and a brisk plot. However, the creators were able to avoid complete nonsense, which was present in both of the previous episodes. ()

Chapter 7: The Reckoning (2019) (S01E07)

English The main storyline has completed its looping, and our hero has returned to the scene as the rightful culprit. Finally, an episode has appeared that not only works on its own but also fits perfectly into the story. It is starting to look like the series finale might turn out well. ()

Chapter 8: Redemption (2019) (S01E08)

English Yes, however, the finale of the first episode was eventually successful. I must admit that I was hoping for something better, but it wasn't a big disappointment. I could easily overlook the somewhat Spiderman-like battle with the TIE fighter and the rather incomprehensible battle of stormtroopers against a defending group, but what can I do. 4* ()
