Luna is a vibrant young Chinese American girl who dreams of becoming an astronaut. From the day she witnessed a rocket launching into space on TV, Luna has been driven to reach for the stars. In the big city, Luna lives with her loving father Chu, who supports her through a humble shoe repair business he runs out of his garage. One Small Step is the story of a girl named Luna who, despite all the obstacles and hardships that life has prepared for her, does not give up and follows her dream with determination. The film impresses especially with its beautiful animation, moving music and strong story.
