Ditte & Louise

The popular TV series Ditte & Louise is now a film and the result is a snorting MeToo slapstick that highlights the situation for female actors. Ditte and Louise struggle along with their cabaret tour and dream about landing roles in movies. once Ditte without success has pursued another role as a nameless prostitute, she decides she’s going to the next audition under the name Ditlöv. Her new, manly persona is an immediate success, but that Ditlöv is treated like an esteemed genius strains the friendship with Louise.
