Best friends Mia and Mel (Tiffany Haddish and Rose Byrne) are living their best lives running their own cosmetics company they've built from the ground up. Unfortunately, they're in over their heads financially, and the prospect of a big buyout offer from a notorious titan of the cosmetics industry Claire Luna (Salma Hayek) proves too tempting to pass up, putting Mel and Mia's lifelong friendship in jeopardy. When I watch a film that obviously originated for another target audience, I try to be objective, to watch it through the eyes of that target group and not take points away just for not being a film for me. But this is a completely different case. Completely. I absolutely have no idea for whom such primitive, dumb “comedy," so very awkward and from beginning to end unpleasant non-fun in which the likeable Rose Byrne and mega goddess Salma Hayek accidentally found themselves. It's really terrible, no use wasting anymore space and words on it.
