This autobiographical premium opera is the heartbreaking chronicle of a family facing the lack of roots and mental illness. When she learns that her brother Juan has returned to Quebec after spending time in Mexico, her place of origin, Karina García Casanova decides to film him. Its purpose is clear from the beginning, it is not interested in home movies, but is willing to make a real film. His project quickly takes a dramatic turn when Juan suffers a desperate relapse of depression and paranoia. It is not unusual for a premium opera to emerge from a rather personal journey; but those that show such a mature introspection are rare.
