“These days, world peace, disarmament and over-armament have become hackneyed themes and the images that we see on television or in the papers are hackneyed images. It was with this in mind that I decided to drag images of the encounter between Reagan and Gorbatchev at the Geneva summit back into the spotlight. The film revives the way these images were burned into my memory.” (Festival International du Film de La Rochelle)
