Big Screen hero Dolph Lundgren (Johnny Mnemonic, Universal Soldier) is back and ready for action in this explosive action thriller! Waxman (Lundgren) is a former Special Forces commando, now working as a highly trained, heavily armed assassin for a covert government organization known only as The Agency. But when a top-secret mission goes horribly wrong, Waxman and his beautiful but lethal accomplice Clegg (Gina Bellman) suddenly find out they are The Agency's prime targets! From Highlander 1 & 2 Director Russell Mulcahy comes an incredible tale of action and suspense where no one can be trusted. (official distributor synopsis)

English Dolph Lundgren is a guarantee of a B-movie or even a C-movie, which is not necessarily a problem - even a low-grade film has a chance of a decent rating with me, but that’s not the case of Silent Trigger. The film follows two timelines – present and retrospective, the problem is that while the past is fast-paced and interesting, the present just keeps dragging on. The creators grafted a romantic plot onto it with the subtlety of a rock crushing machine and the final result didn’t make any sense to me. I also wonder if the director has ever seen what happens to a target that is hit by a high-speed half-inch projectile. I don’t think so. ()
