Theorizing that one could time travel within his own lifetime, Dr. Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and Vanished...He woke to find himself trapped in the past, facing mirror images that were not his own and driven by an unknown force to change history for the better. I used to watch this pretty regularly, but in German (I only understood about half of what was going on) on RTL, SAT 1 or PRO 7 when I was still a young boy. I understood the basic idea of traveling through time through other people’s bodies, but because I hadn’t seen the pilot I wasn’t sure why and mainly how. In the end it didn’t really matter, because it was sort of eye candy for me. Maybe some Czech TV channel will buy it and at last I can find out how it ended.
