English Here they solve non-traditional cases, however not in an “action driven" manner that we are familiar with in other series, but instead with an emphasis on contemporary methods, procedures, and "science". The whole thing is attractively presented - how could it be otherwise with Jerry Bruckheimer behind it. Personal lives and character development are pushed into the background, as is the prosecution of criminals, etc. This is both the charm and the biggest negative point of the series, because each episode follows the exact same pattern and only in exceptional cases does something change. English For millions of American viewers, modern cult for fifteen long years, for me incomprehensible boredom. CSI plays the smart series, yet it remains a consistently humorous attempt at realistic crime. The paradox remains that compared to the Miami brotherhood, Las Vegas is still watchable, but for me, the Bruckheimer Crime Series has never found understanding. ()

English In the last 15 years preceding the premiere of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, a number of successful mystery series appeared on the American television market that worked with supernatural and conspiracy theories and motifs, relying on the irrational side of human psychology. At the same time, a gap emerged in the form of a television project that relies on exactly opposite starting points and tries to work in the spirit of scientific analysis, using a rational, objective perspective. CSI filled this gap by combining the captivating theme of complex criminal investigations with attractive visual processing, good camera work, modern fast editing, and the use of the latest special effects techniques. The series achieved extraordinary success in the television market, and the actors working in it became the highest-paid television celebrities. Of all the guaranteed series hits in recent years, I like CSI the most due to its use of the scientific method. The series has seen several directors and especially screenwriters come and go, and with a high number of episodes produced, it was not always possible to maintain the set standard, so the quality of later seasons is more variable. Skeptics could also point out the hours it takes for the Las Vegas crime scene investigators to analyze evidence, whereas real experts take weeks, as is the case with DNA analysis. Or how many violent crimes occur in the area around the characters. Also, to keep viewers engaged, the series increasingly resorts to solving cases in increasingly bizarre environments and with more bizarre culprits. Eccentric serial killers and psychopaths are evidently a widely spread group in American society. Despite the objections mentioned above, my overall impression still amounts to 80%. ()
