"Hell. Pure hell." This is how a female soldier in Ukraine who participated in the fighting in Donbas describes her experience from the front after returning home. Insomnia. Inability to function in society. Alienation from those closest to her. Oksana Yakobava is fighting again. Not with the enemy out there, but the enemy within. With post-traumatic stress disorder. The calming and empathetic voices of the staff of the Kyiv Recovery Centre seem to promise a return to normalcy. But Oksana has experienced little but war for three years. In this very physical, close-up documentary, shots of Oksana's face, her gestures, movements and rigidity blend with the intimate confession of a woman whom the war has deprived of the ability to interact "normally", but not the ability to communicate.
