English Charming as an antique. I must admit that I watch it in order to collect the aesthetic weirdness that the show is crawling through. My rating may be unfairly low (understand: contemporary :o)), but most stories are built in the same way, and the humor that adorns McCoy, Scotty and (illogically) Spock in the first series had not yet emerged from the embryo stage. Yet undoubtedly a classic that started it all and the series that will be valuable material for aesthetics analyzing the 1960s. Fascinating! ()

English I know that this gave birth to a great cult of the sci-fi genre and out of mere respect and nostalgia, I should give it more stars, but from today's perspective, it's hopelessly outdated - both in terms of content and the scenery. The series is brought to you by television producer and screenwriter Gene Roddenberry, thanks to whom the phenomenon of space operas was born. The popularity of the series was so immense that the number of episodes reached 79, and after the television studio fell silent, the cult continued with feature films. Thanks to Star Trek, the phenomenon of Trekkies emerged, who organize conventions, wear costumes of their heroes and are considered by their surroundings such fanatics that they have inspired many screenwriters and are parodied, for example, in The Simpsons. For me, the original series is just a bit too naive from today's perspective, as I dislike the outrageously cheap sets and the clumsiness of some of the actors, including William Shatner in the role of the captain. Overall impression: 35%. It's a fossil of its genre, interesting for collectors and connoisseurs. ()
