The metropolis plays an important role in Jean-Pierre Limosin's understated film, with its anonymous crowds, over-technologized and impersonal world of modern Japan. The camera follows characters about whom we know little, and along with the editing, it creates a sense of mystery. The film undeniably has atmosphere, but to be honest, it didn't leave me with any significant catharsis or lasting impression. It remained halfway there. Overall impression: 55%. ()
