CAPRICE ITALIAN STYLE tells and interconnects six short stories, directed by different great Italian directors. Steno brings the story of a man, who kidnaps two antisocial long-haired youths to put them on the right track again. Mauro Bolognini directed the episode about two young men obsessed by overtaking other cars. Pier Paolo Pasolini´s story is about two puppets thrown to the landfill at the end of a play and it seems they are happy to be freed from their fetters. Mario Monicelli´s nurse is outraged at seeing the children she is looking after, read comics. In Mauro Bolognini´s story a lawyer's wife is sure that her husband is betraying her and she obliges him to open an office in their house to keep an eye on his nice-looking clients more easily. And Pino Zac tells a tale about Queen on a State Visit, who gives a wrong speech. (official distributor synopsis)
