In a small Icelandic fishing port, a ferry docks. That same day a dismembered body is found in the river, sparking an investigation and a call to Reykjavik for detective reinforcements to assist the small localpolice force. After the first episode, I can say that I saw the beginning of a typically Nordic affair. The traditional gloomy atmosphere, scythe, malamutes bending in corners, and a charismatic main hero cannot be missing. The creators really succeeded with him this time, I always enjoy seeing Ólafur Darri Ólafsson.
