Never Meet Your Heroes (E01)

This really has a nicely Die Hard atmosphere about it. Another Christmastide episode brings us the best archer in the world and a dad who’s a bit deaf (at last a character to identify with) in the hunt for an old suit and on the trail of a mysterious murder. Hawkeye is looking promising. (11/26/2021)

An impressive insertion into the Avengers universe. A likeable opening, acceptable introductions to the main characters and an unobtrusive mix of humour and comic book-style suspense and action. So far it looks like a Christmas popcorn order exclusively for die-hard fans, but let's not jump into conclusions. (01/19/2022)
