The movie "Thief of Bagdad" intrigued me because it is a naive film. That naivety is evident in the story, in the performances, where Sabu is incredibly spontaneous, and above all in the special effects, which are beautiful because of it. The film doesn't stand out in terms of its plot, but it is precisely its age that gives it charm.
