Easter Island in the 17th century. On the lush and hard-edged land that natives call Rapa Nui, lives a people of mysterious customs. The youthful Make, to win the heart of his beautiful Ramana and put an end to the oppression of his caste, takes part in the annual " bird-man " contest.
